Recognition for Radio Africa’s people and programmes

Radio Africa staff gathered in November 2025 to celebrate achievements across the group. Martin Khafafa had received a media and communications leadership award, while Kalondu Musyimi was recognised at the Pulse Influencer Awards.

Radio Jambo’s audience performance was also part of the celebration. The Star reported on the station’s position among Nairobi’s Swahili radio audiences and the continuing appeal of Gidi na Ghost Asubuhi. Colleagues marked the occasion with music, cake and congratulations.
